Sustainability – Our Contribution to a Sustainable Future

At Sassa, sustainability is a top priority. In the face of climate change, our commitment goes beyond offering fashion at fair prices — we also focus on sustainable and environmentally friendly production.

Sassa uses outer packaging made exclusively from recyclable polyester. Sustainable polyester materials certified by the Global Recycled Standard — such as those made from recycled PET bottles and discarded fishing nets — are used in our "Shiny Sustainable" and "Sustainable Micro" collections, as well as in our sports bras.

The boxes used in our in-house warehouse logistics are made from recycled paper, and the same applies to our online packaging. Our catalogs are printed on natural paper, minimizing environmental impact.

The carefully selected fabrics, lace, and accessories used in our production comply with the OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 and meet the requirements of the REACH regulation. We also use sustainable and rapidly renewable raw materials such as bamboo, TENCEL™ Lyocell fibers, and TENCEL™ Modal fibers.

In the area of product processing and services, we work in partnership with the non-profit BruderhausDiakonie of the Gustav Werner Foundation. Their workshops provide people with disabilities the opportunity to actively participate in working life.

As a member of amfori BSCI (Business Social Compliance Initiative), SASSA is committed — along with its production partners — to the amfori Code of Conduct, which promotes fair working conditions and responsible business practices.

For over 25 years, we have maintained long-standing, fair, and loyal relationships with our manufacturing partners.
